Tax Return Information
US law (IRC section 7216) limits how a tax return preparer may use and share the information you give for a tax return. We use it to prepare and file your returns. Some uses need your signed consent, each on its own screen:
- Partner consent: the partner business that serves you may see your company's tax return information.
You do not have to sign a consent to get the service. Each consent lasts one year from the day you sign it. We keep a copy or a list of each return we prepare for at least 3 years, as US law (IRC section 6107) requires.
